Afzalur Rahman Masum, an umpire of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), died of cardiac arrest in the capital on Wednesday morning.
He breathed his last at his city’s residence this morning.
Shahriar Nafis, a member of the BCB’s cricket operations department, confirmed the news in a status posted on his official facebook page.
Afzalur Rahman was a former national team umpire and an honorary member of the Bangladesh Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association.
