Shawdesh dEsk: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said on Thursday Khandaker Abdul Mannan has passed away maintaining the honor and dignity of law profession.

He said this while addressing the namaz-e-janaza of late Dhaka District and Sessions Judge Court’s Public Prosecutor (PP) Khandaker Abdul Mannan on Dhaka District Judge Court premises, said a press release.

Barrister Taposh said, “We are deeply saddened by his death. Khandaker Abdul Mannan had all the virtues a lawyer needs to have … He was respected by all for his qualities.”
The DSCC mayor prayed for salvation of the departed soul, added the release.

PP of Dhaka District Sessions Judge Court, former president and general secretary of Dhaka Bar, veteran lawyer Khandaker Abdul Mannan passed away at 7 pm yesterday while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
