Admission into government and non-government schools for the upcoming academic year will be completed through lottery due to the ongoing corona pandemic in the country.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni made the disclosure at a virtual press briefing at this morning (Wednesday).
Bangladesh reported 32 deaths from the Novel coronavirus yesterday (Tuesday), with the daily infection rate nearly 14%.
The government has decided not to hold PSC, JSC and HSC exams this year.
