Tangail DC tests positive for Covid-19

Md Ataul Gani, the deputy commissioner of Tangail, tested positive for the Covid-19, the disease caused by a new coronavirus strain that has so far killed 2,965 people in Bangladesh.
Addition deputy commissioner Md Mosharaf Hossain confirmed the news.
“The deputy commissioner tested positive for the virus on Monday. The DC is in home quarantine and doing well”, he said.
Until Tuesday, 1,515 people have so far tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tangail.
