Shawdesh Desk: A fire broke out in a multi-storied building at Elephant Road area in the capital on Monday afternoon.
Confirming the news, Rasel Sikder, a duty-officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, said three firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the fire that broke out around 3:15pm.
Cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
However, no casualty was reported.
