Road accident kills elderly woman in city

Shawdesh desk: An elderly woman was killed as a bus hit her at Shanir Akhra in the capital.
The deceased was identified as Nur Jahan, 65, a resident of Gendaria of Dhaka.
Sources said a bus hit her at Shanir Akhra on Monday evening. Later, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
Dhaka Medical College and Hospital Police Camp in-charge Bacchu Mia said the doctor of the hospital declared citically injured Nur Jahan dead at 9:00pm.
The body was taken hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
