Metro Rail Project: Quader inaugurates the installation of tracks

Shawdesh Desk: Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader inaugurated the installation of metro rail’s tracks in Diabari area of the capital on Wednesday morning.
The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), a government-owned company, is implementing the metro rail projects.
The metro rail has made 38.35 percent progress as of November and is expected to be opened to the public on December 16, 2021.
Earlier, the construction work of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT Line)-6 began in 2016.
