Police have arrested three people on charge of raping a female worker inside an under-construction building in Hazaribagh area in the capital on Saturday.
The arrestees were identified as Roni, 21, Najir, 20, and Sagar, 21.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Hazaribagh police station Md Ikram Ali Mia confirmed the news.
The arrestees — Rony and Najir — confessed to their involvement in the alleged gang rape of 18-year-old female worker, OC said.
The victim, an employee of a local factory, was sent to one-stop crisis centre at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) today for forensic test, he said.
