Two killed in Rajshahi road accident

Shawdesh Desk: Two people were killed and three others were injured when a lorry plunged into a roadside ditch on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj Highway at Kumarpara of Godagari upazila on early Thursday.
The deceased were Nuruzzaman, 50, and Ayub Khan, 50, of Jhikorgaccha upazila in Jashore.
Jahangir Alam, officer-in-charge of Godagari police station, said that the mango-laden lorry plunged into the roadside ditch around 5:00am after its driver lost control over the steering while heading towards Rajshahi, leaving two people dead on the spot and three others injured.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
On information, police recovered the bodies and seized the lorry.
