Five Bangladeshi expatriates killed in Qatar road accident

Five Bangladeshi expatriates from Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet were killed in a road accident on Shamal Road in Al-Shahaniya city of Qatar on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Jashim Uddin of village Agtaluk, Jibal Uddin of village Amarpur, Mostaque Ahmed, Zubaier Ahmed and Quader Ahmed of village Majhtaluk under South Bani Union of Kanaighat upazila.
The accident took place at about 10:30am (local time), said Kanaighat Police Station officer-in-charge Aminul Islam quoting the victims’ families.
The deaths have cast a pall of gloom among the Bangladeshi expatriate community in Qatar as well as among the victims’ families and relatives in Sylhet.
